Sure, florals for spring aren’t exactly groundbreaking. But this season, they’ve been taken to excitingly loud and dramatic proportions thanks to the runway gods. Balenciaga tailored the print into sharp jackets, Gucci tossed bright blossoms onto sweeping gowns, and Valentino sprinkled them on his cocktail dresses. Now, J.Crew has its dresses in full bloom. The Campo de' fiori sweaterdress has large blue and white flowers stretching from the hemline up to the elbow. But even though the design may shout spring, the wool fabric is better suited for gray February days. With a boatneck collar and three-quarter sleeves, this cheery yellow and orange dress is the perfect pit stop on the way to your hot weather wardrobe.
